Gut Health: Natural & Quick ways to Reduce Bloat

Gut health is important for overall health. It is also the main thing that contributes to bloating. Here we have some solutions for you to reduce bloat, improve gut health, and incorporate easy habits into your lifestyle for the best body inside and out.

There are a bunch of foods you can eat or stop eating to counteract bloat. The picture above lists a few, but be sure to do your own research if you have allergies or other medical reasons that may require you to avoid certain foods. Too much consumption of salt is one of the easiest ways to bloat. Any foods rich in Potassium (kiwis, oranges, pistachios, etc.)prevent water retention by regulating your sodium levels. Also any foods rich in Protein will speed up your metabolism and reduce bloating. Foods such as fish, eggs, dairy, nuts and seeds will help increase your metabolism causing you to use the bathroom more frequently. The longer your waste (💩) sits in your colon, the longer time bacteria has a chance to ferment all that toxic nastiness in there. This results in more bloating and even more gas!

Drinks you can make at home

While working on your gut health with foods and regulating the fluids in your system, there’s also some really tasty drinks you can make that may be even more effective. There is a powerful green juice on Instagram @samarasbeautyclub that promotes detoxification, digestion, hydration, reduces inflammation, and so much more! Be sure to check it out and stay tuned for more recipes. There will be a chia seed water recipe up this week and you DON’T want to miss it. This recipe is my personal take on.the viral “internal shower”. There are so many other recipes from waters, to juices, to smoothies posted on Pinterest @samarthebeautytech. Everything is shown on the boards “transformative era” & “hygiene/wellness products + tips”. Make sure you stay up to date so you can learn all the delicious and satisfying ways you can improve your health in all areas.

Lymphatic drainage massages can be done at home or by a professional. It’s very important to perform these massages regularly so you can encourage the movement of your lymph fluids around the body. This fluid is what helps to remove or “flush” waste and toxins from the body tissues. This is especially necessary after invasive procedures such as liposuction surgery or brazilian butt lift surgery to avoid Fibrosis. Fibrosis is the development of thick, fibrous scar tissue under the skin caused by blockages in the lymphatic system. When you book any body sculpting treatment in the “Appointments” section, this massage technique is included at the end of your session. Not ready to book? Follow @samarathebeautytech on Tik Tok or click the Tik Tok widget on the top right of this page and stay tuned for in depth videos on some lymphatic drainage massages you can do at home! If you’re performing the massages in the picture provided be sure to generously apply body oil to the skin to avoid tugging. Sacred Night Time Body Oil or any carrier oil will work perfectly!

Now unlike bloat, fat is very hard to target and get rid of. This picture lists the main treatments you can book under “Appointments” that will allow us to break down fat and counteract bloat at the same time. All of these treatments are concluded with a lymphatic drainage massage that gives most clients the sudden urge to urinate. That’s a good thing! Flush it out then flush it down! After your bathroom visit and treatment/s combined you have lost 1-3 inches instantly.

Just like anything , consistency is key. The easiest way to be consistent is to be disciplined! The best way to discipline yourself without being absolutely miserable in the process is to incorporate small lifestyle changes into your routine. Small additions or adjustments to your daily life will make much bigger differences than any short term diet or quick fix.
